Proven Winners is an international marketing group comprised of some of the world's best propagators. They are dedicated to developing new hybrid varieties that will perform well for consumers anywhere in the United States.. This elite group selects the most exciting varieties from around the world and conducts intense trials in North American climates. Only the most colorful, fastest growing, versatile and vigorous plants are selected to bear the Proven Winners label. Papa Geno’s/Prairie Perennials has entered into an agreement with Proven Winners to provide these wonderful plants via the Internet to home growers anywhere in America.

Proven Winners looks for superior hybrid color varieties that already have an established track record in another world market, such as Europe or Japan. The founding members and selected universities then test the selections here in the U.S. in both greenhouse conditions and outdoor field trials. Once the tests have been completed, all three founding members must agree that it is an outstanding plant in order for it to be introduced as a Proven Winner. Proven Winners selections are part of the group's "Elite" stock program. "Elite" means that the mother stock initially comes from thermally treated tissue culture, and is superior in every way.
