Provence Lavender Bouquet

This very blue lavender is grown at a farm in rural southern France. The grower has won numerous awards for this very special color in local competition. This family has “selected” (in French the verb is “sélectionner” the bluest plants that grow wild in the Provence countryside). They then divide these plants and eventually have a whole field of these “cloned” plants. The uncle of this producer grows lavender for the strong scent, as used for potpourri, or to fill a sachet. The color is very grey, but the scent more intense. It is a difference in plants but also in the altitude, as the blue plants seem to like the higher altitude best.
The bouquet is a lovely gift or accent in any room. Hang it in the kitchen, place on a bedside table, freshen up a bathroom or place anywhere that you can enjoy the beautiful color and fragrance of this dried bouquet. This is a very thoughtful gift that will last much longer than a bouquet of fresh flowers. Bouquet measures 13 ½ ‘’ x 6 ½’’. Shipping is $6.90.
