Catnips and Catmints are the same critter. Although some cats love all of these plants, the two that our greenhouse cats clearly prefers are Common Catnip and Lemon Catnip. My dad had a rose garden underplanted with Blue Wonder catnip to make a lovely effect. Shipped only in the spring.

You will sometimes see this as a separate species, but it is actually a subspecies of the common catnip, and cats are just as attracted to this one. Plants are a bit smaller than common catnip and the foliage is a soft green rather than grey/green. Lemon scent is particularly noticeable on hot days. A nice addition to any tea. Honeybees love it. | | | Catnips & calamints Description Page |
