	Fringed like the other Apples, this is a smallish plant with grey/green fringed (serrated) leaves. More delicate in appearance and more pungent in fragrance than the Apple. In an eight inch pot, this reaches maybe 12-15" tall and about the same in diameter. Clusters of tiny white flowers over several months. We have a border of these aroung a "purple garden" which appears mystical at dawn and sunset!

	This lovely hybrid has dark green, crispy, cupped leaves and bears a pungent, partially citrus fragrance. It bears lovely crimson/cerise blossoms, and is so large that only a substantial pot (12-14 inch) will hold it. It looks best at the back of a border or in a sunny corner. We have one that occupies a niche about 3 ft. tall and 3 ft. in diameter! Tender perennial. Overwinters outdoors in zones 8-10; should be potted and brought indoors in mid-autumn in colder climates.
