1. Yes, we sell and ship Scented Geraniums anywhere in the
"lower 48." Depending on where you live, we will ship SGs between March
and June, and then again between September and mid December - weather permitting.
2. No, Scented Geraniums are not winter-hardy in much of the
U.S. Some are light frost-tolerant to a degree, but none we know of will survive prolonged
periods of freezing temperatures.
3. Most of them prefer full sun and well-drained soil, but
several varieties do just fine in partial shade, and a few varieties actuaslly prefer
light shade.
4. Yes, many of them make good winter house plants, and yes,
they're fairly easy to take care of, if you are not timid with the pruning shears.
5. Yes, we grow the Chocolate Peppermint, as well as the
mosquito-repelling varieties - Citronella and Citrosa.
6. Yes, Scented Geraniums are getting harder and harder to find,
primarily because they are not cost-effective for greenhouse growers to mess with. They're
tough to propagate, and they take up a lot of room. I am still growing them only because
they are personal favorites.
7. Yes, we will include free growing instructions with each
order. We also have several pages of cultural instructions
on this Website.
