| 9863 Common Germander Teucrium chamaedyrs Germander, Common You've seen it many times in photographs of Elizabethan knot gardens. This is the low-grower, clipped as a hedge. Hardy through at least Zone 5, one of the few reliable small hedges available to northern herb gardeners. Purple flowers; dark green leaves. In the temerate Midwest these can grow into a sphere 2 feet in diameter. Can be planted outdoors in the Autumn. |
